It has been an absolute pleasure to contribute to Bella’s story, ensuring she has nothing but the best roofs under her paws along the way. The campaign’s success has captured the hearts of homeowners across New Zealand, and we’re thrilled to have played such a key role.
Bella has once again proven that when it comes to the roof over your head, “NOTHING LESS” than high-quality materials and impeccable craftsmanship will do. The success of the Bella campaign is proof that a Colorsteel roof, installed by Aspect Roofing, delivers both beauty and durability that stands the test of time.
In part one of the ‘Bella’ television campaign, the client needed a very specific type of roof for the narrative: a villa with both steep-pitched and flat roof areas, nestled in a traditional villa and bungalow-style neighbourhood.
Working closely with the location scout team, we were thrilled to recommend a recently completed project in Grey Lynn, Auckland. This stately villa, elevated with character and charm, featured a brand new DRIDEX Windsor Grey roof in a Custom Orb corrugated profile from Steel and Tube Roofing. It was the ideal match—providing both the aesthetic and quality demanded for Bella’s first appearance.
The response to Bella’s debut was overwhelming. As the most popular campaign the company has ever done, it showcased not just their product’s superior quality but also the artistry and expertise behind the installation—a testament to the care and precision we bring to every roof we install.
In 2024, Bella returned to introduce Next Generation with Activate™ technology, and once again, she needed a roof worthy of her discerning tastes. The Aspect sales team worked closely with the location crew to shortlist projects, ensuring Bella had the perfect stage.
This time, the spotlight fell on a stunning Remuera bungalow, redesigned by architect Chris Tate and expertly renovated by QBS Construction. Featuring a new Grey Friars roof in a Corrugate profile from Roofing Industries, this home delivered both style and performance—making it the perfect choice for Bella’s latest adventures.
The continued success of the campaign reinforces a key message: when it comes to choosing a roof, homeowners deserve “NOTHING LESS” than the best. The popularity of Bella’s journey highlights the unmatched appeal of Colorsteel roofs and the exceptional craftsmanship that brings them to life.
Part two of the campaign presented a unique challenge: filming needed to take place both on location and in a studio setting. To ensure seamless continuity, Aspect collaborated with the set builders and art department to create a life-size scale model of the home’s front section inside the studio.
Our skilled craftsmen recreated every detail with precision, treating the model with the same level of care and attention we bring to every roofing project. From the profile to the colour, the result was indistinguishable from the original, demonstrating our dedication to quality, craftsmanship, and excellence.
